Changing Your Password

To change your password while you are logged into ClassIT:

  1. Select User Preferences from the User Settings menu. This opens the User Preferences page.
  2. Click the Edit Profile button. This opens your User Profile page.
  3. Click the Reset Password link on the right side of the page. This opens the Reset Password page, where you can enter a new password. The password must be at least 5 characters long, and must contain at least one number and one letter. Passwords are case-sensitive. That is, if you specify ABcd1 as your password, you must type "AB" in upper case, and "cd" in lower when you log in.

    Be sure to enter the same password in both fields (New Password and Confirm New Password).

  4. Click Submit. This shows you a message confirming the password change.

After you have changed your password, you can return to ClassIT by choosing ClassIT from the Return menu.
