Forgot Password

Request Password Reset Page If you have forgotten your password, follow the steps below to reset your password:

  1. Click Forgot Password on the Login page. The Request Password Reset page displays.
  2. Enter your e-mail address and click Submit. This sends you an e-mail with a link titled NMFTA Reset Password.
  3. Click the link. This opens the Create New Password page, where you can enter a new password. Reset Password Page
  4. Enter New Password and Confirm New Password. Be sure to enter the same password in both fields.
    Note: The password must be at least 5 characters long, and must contain at least one number and one letter. Passwords are case-sensitive. That is, if you specify ABcd1 as your password, you must type "AB" in upper case, and "cd" in lower when you log in.
  5. Click Submit. This shows you a message confirming the password change.

Change Password

If you remember your password, but want to change it while you are logged in to ClassIT, follow the steps below to reset the password:

  1. Reset Password Page Select User Preferences from the User Settings menu. This opens the User Preferences page.
  2. Click the Edit Profile button. This opens your User Profile page.
  3. On the User Profile page, click on Reset Password. This opens the Create New Password page.
  4. Enter New Password and Confirm New Password. Be sure to enter the same password in both fields.
    Note: The password must be at least 5 characters long, and must contain at least one number and one letter. Passwords are case-sensitive. That is, if you specify ABcd1 as your password, you must type "AB" in upper case, and "cd" in lower when you log in.
  5. Click Submit. This shows you a message confirming the password change.

After you have changed your password, you can return to ClassIT by clicking on the Return button.
